Wedding Catering
Congratulations, and welcome to the world of wedding planning! This process can feel like a full time job, so we want to join your planning team to make your big day successful. From our comprehensive menu to our five-star service, we are able to provide top notch attention from first consultation to the wedding day clean up. Here are some steps to help provide a smooth process when considering us as your caterer.
Step 1: Know your Budget
It is important to understand your budget when planning catering. When thinking about your wedding meal and cost, think of what it would cost to go out to dinner, order drinks, appetizers, dinner and dessert plus tax and gratuity at a restaurant similar to the type of meal you are looking for. Additional fees include plate service, server hours and linen in addition to any fees imposed by your venue. Using our menu as a guide, we recommend three (3) appetizers and a main entree to start. You can also expect to pay $4-$8 per person for desserts unless you are looking for cake and desserts through an external bakery.
Step 2: Take a look at the Menu
Our favorites menu gives you a snapshot look at our tried and true recipes. Have something in mind that you don’t see on our menu? That’s ok! We’re a scratch kitchen, so we can recreate special recipes. Our pricing is per plate and per piece unless otherwise noted.
Step 3: Fill out the Wedding Catering Request Form
Step 4: Schedule a Consultation
Once we receive your form submission, one of our event staff will reach out to schedule a phone consultation to get to know you and your thoughts, and by the end of the phone call you should have a quote in your email inbox! If you’re ready, we can book your tasting before you hang up.
Step 5: Schedule a Tasting
We offer cost free tastings for quotes over $5000
Our tastings are specially prepared by Chef Adam for up to 4 people, with a $30 fee for every extra person (limit 6 people). We offer our tastings on Tuesday evenings, but in special circumstances we can accommodate other days of the week. Click on the button for our tasting policy.
Step 6: Sign your Contract and pay your 50% Deposit
To reserve your wedding day, sign the virtual contract and pay your 50% deposit by credit card virtually or send us a check in the mail (4466 Centerville Rd White Bear Lake MN, 55127).
Step 7: Gather RSVPs and Design Name Cards
Please fill out this excel sheet by making a copy. Once we have reviewed your meal choices and RSVP’s we will update your invoice and send you a final bill.
When putting together name cards, please use an easy to distinguish symbol on the front of the card that indicates their meal choice. Some people use stickers (cow for beef, fish for fish, carrot for vegetarian). Please make sure the name is legible with an easy to read font so guests and servers can easily identify names.
Step 8: Two week Phone Call
Once we’re two weeks away from your wedding day, we will give you a call to get your final head count and meal choices, walk through your wedding day timeline, and answer any of your final questions and your final payment is due. Numbers are locked in so we can order your ingredients and staff your event.
